Smithtown High School Committee:
We have reached 70 percent of our financial goals to outfit the Marching Band with new uniforms. Next month's concert by the band should put us over the top. Tickets are available at the Community Center.

Smithtown Senior Center Committee:
The expansion of the Senior Center's kitchen is expected to be completed in the next two months. This will permit the Center to increase the number of meals served by 60 percent!

Smithtown University Committee:
We are starting a fundraising drive to add 100,000 books to the Smithtown University Library. Fundraising will be in the form of cash donations as well as fundraising from events which will be planned over the next two years. Help make our Smithtown University Library the best in the university system.

Smithtown Historical Society:
A retrospective of the life and times of the Smithtown City Council from 1890 to 1910 is being organized at this time. If anyone has photographs of Councilmembers and can provide some historical background, that can be included in the exhibit.
